So you'd like to join Anvil Chorus? Amazing! You're in the right place.
The first step is just to.pop along to a rehearsal. Every Tuesday night we meet at Beacon Church in Pheasey from 7:30pm, and we'd be delighted to welcome you. You'll be welcomed onto the risers with us, we'll have a listen to your voice and suggest what we think is the most appropriate voice part for you. Don't worry, if you fancy trying another, of course, that's fine!
We'll buddy you up with someone singing the same part and we have guest folders with printed music for you to use, but if you don't read music, don't worry, just use it for the words and sing along with your buddy.
If you enjoy your first night with us and you're interested in becoming a part of the chorus, we'll guide you through learning a simple song to sing with some of our experienced members, and support your learning going forward. We have audio learning materials for every song too, so you don't need to worry if sight reading music isn't for you!
